Free video chat with strangers, checked at both ends
No card, no trial, no account needed to start. Random calls, avatars, topics and private rooms are free; the only paid things are gifts and Premium, and you can talk to people forever without either.
Start a random callWhat free covers
- Unlimited random calls, masked or face on.
- The avatar creator, the wardrobe and the selfie-based starting look.
- Topic rooms, going live, and private rooms with the people you peeled all the way with.
- Every safety check: the age check, the nudity checks, reporting and the device-level bans.
What costs money
Diamonds buy gifts for someone on a call or a stream, and the receiver keeps most of the value as coins they can cash out after verification. Premium adds a gender filter on unpeeled searches, no skip wait, a rematch, extra avatar parts and an optional badge. Neither is needed to use Peel.
How a call on Peel works
- You are an avatar first. Your camera drives an avatar that copies your expressions, and your voice can go out in a persona. The other person sees the avatar, not your face.
- Peel one step at a time. Background, then face, then real voice, then a private room you both keep. Each step needs both of you to agree, and either of you can go back at any moment.
- Or skip the mask. Turn on "Show my face from the start" and you are matched only with people who chose the same, so nobody sees a face they did not opt into.

Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. Talking to people costs nothing. Gifts and Premium are optional.
Do I need an app store?
No. Peel runs in the browser at peelcam.com and installs to your home screen if you want it there.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, 18+, and it is checked with the camera before random calls rather than asked.
